I love that you honored Mike and made us remember how truly lucky we are. So sad because so many people have lost their lives. I went to his website and looked at the pictures ofhis beautiful family. I think everyone should really look at a soldiers life. I think if they did, more people would care about what is going on in the work and with this war. What a great and sad post all at once. I can't even imagine the loss that is felt by those who loved him. Such a small number of people have carried the burden of freedom for the rest of us. It's important to take time to stop and reflect on what they've done for us, what it means, and what our response should be - what we (as a nation) should do going forward. It's hard for me to make sense of this war, but we have to find some meaning in it for the sake of those who have served and especially those who have lost their lives.
