And I’ll be back in just a little bit with actual original content – because my sister-in-law Janie is making FRIED GREEN TOMATOES tonight, and I plan to capture every delicious moment via some truly mediocre photography.

I’m shooting for the bloggy stars, y’all.

why is it that guys can get away with the long and wavy hair look, but when I try to pull it off…it’s just a frizzy mess?? Oh the unfairness.

Thanks for writing about these guys…I looked them up on myspace and they are great!

I’ll admit I’ve never heard of these dudes, but I liked the song. Thanks!

Always enjoy seeing mediocre pictures of yummy food. Can’t wait! I have NEVER tasted (or seen for that matter) a Fried Green Tomato. Love the movie and I imagine the real thing to be quite tasty.

Have fun!

How did you get a copy? I had never heard of them until your blog but enjoyed the songs on their myspace page … would love to get a copy of the CD.

Ooh, M&N are great! I’ve liked them since they first debuted.

I’ve been wanting fried green tomatoes for weeks. I blame pregnancy!

Mmmm…FGT!

I got your request for that recipe. I haven’t had time to dig it out of the pile from last summer but I will, I will! It’s easy and I could probably just tell you how to do it but I’ll look for the recipe.

Fried green tomatoes?? One word – YUM! One of my faves, but I keep forgetting to pick one up at the grocery to fry up. Hope you enjoyed the deliciousness and can’t wait for the pics and recipe.

Glad you’re enjoying your CD.

I’m far too late to comment, of course, but I’m going to plead that I’ve been on vacation in the wilds of NM without internet access.

In any case, I visited Monk and Neagle’s myspace page and noticed to my shock and surprise that, although they have 14019 friends, I am well acquainted with their #2 friend — he goes to my church and is a really great singer in his own right. Aaron Roughton is his name, and his myspace is http://www.myspace.com/aaronroughton

I’ll have to ask Aaron about his Monk and Neagle connection next time I see him.

And Ms. Mama, I think I owe you a recipe…
