So Michael’s personal life has definitely taken a turn for the MORE PAINFULLY AWKWARD THAN USUAL in the last two episodes of “The Office,” but there was a welcome hint of sweetness in the last half of tonight’s show.
And as an added bonus: CREED!
My favorite moments?
1. “Please write legibly.”
2. Andy dancing in the parking lot – IT MADE ME SO HAPPY.
3. “Some people sweat too much for comfort.”
4. “I am a man of intensity. Of cool and youth. And passionately.”
5. JIM WITH THAT RING – OH MY WORD AT THE SWEETNESS.
Yours?

OK, now that I have seen it, Jim tying his shoe at the end. That was priceless! Chris said, “I should have done that.” I replied, “You wouldn’t have had a chance then, Sweetheart.” My sense of humor at that time was not so good.
Michael(at cemetery) “I was naive to think that there was one special someone out there for me. She’s not out there because she’s dead. What do ya do?”
Dwight: (pause) “Wait until next year’s chair catalog comes out and find someone who’s alive.”
I had to pause the show while I cried tears of laughter at that one.
I just loved it that Kevin and Andy called the meeting, held the meeting and got back the parking spaces!!!
Kevin said it well, “It’s just nice to win one!”
The Jim/Pam chemistry is SO great I kind of think John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer have something going. Best TV romance in history. And I for one LOVED the five families comment.
Well, I have to say, my hubby DID do that “tie my shoe” stunt–mostly just to get the people we were with. I thought it was funny. So I especially enjoyed tonight’s episode. This is the BEST show!
BooMama, love your blog! This is my first comment.
I am embarrassed to admit that my sweet husband actually DID fake tying his shoe, on the steps of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, in the snow, in order to get on one knee to propose. He got interrupted tying the first shoe so he actually had to tie his other shoe to get the “will you marry me” out. I almost fell off the couch when Jim uttered those words to Pam. Too cute!
I’m a latecomer to the whole Office phenomenon, but since falling in love with it, I can boast having a birthday card with Michael’s voice on it. So it was with terrible sadness I realized last night that while we TiVo’d the last episode, the TV that goes with the TiVo set is already in the POD. I guess I could watch it online?
Oscarmyerweiner..lover. Classic!!
“Hey Pam, will you wait for me one second while I tie my shoe?”
In fact I loved it so much, that I posted that clip on my blog.
OH how I love The Office.
Andy and Kevin getting the parking back.
Of course, the best was Jim and the whole ring thing. :-)
I’m a great catch, and I’m not going to be the one that got away.
Ok, I’ve just gotten around to watching last week’s episode. And I’ve spent the past two hours “grazing” on this post and giggling like crazy at all the comments. Especially OscarMayerWeiner…lover. What part of “shorn’t” don’t you understand? And the ring, of course. Jim and Pam…Jam is awesome.
