If you sponsor a child through Compassion, you can create an account on the Compassion website (you have to have your donor number), and you can compose and send letters to your sponsored child(ren) online. It’s so simple – and if you wear a computer on a chain around your neck like I do, then it’s oh-so-convenient as well.

We have had Compassion Kids for about 15 yrs! When our first child was born we decided to sponser one and have ever since.
(But not the same one unfortunately as one went missing and another ran away with her family during a civil war.) : (
Anyway, I haven’t been great at keeping up my end of the correspondence.

I was having a rough morning. A bit discouraged, a little overwhelmed, extremely weary and, as usual, pretty lonely. And then I clicked those links. Talk about a dose of perspective… how self-centered I can be…
We just got our SECOND letter last night from our compassion child! So exciting!!!!

Thanks for mentioning the online account! I think I remember reading something about that but completely forgot. We just sent off a letter today and a couple pictures for the boy we are sponsoring. Writing online in between letters would work well. Thanks for being such an inspiration!
