One of my favorite things about doing giveaways is that sometimes I get to spotlight mom-owned businesses. And today, oh internets, is one of those times. Because there are some really creative mamas in Nashville who have started a company called Show Offs Art, and they want to share their arty goodness with you.

“Heart and Globe” – without a doubt – especially since we’ve been watching with such sadness the aftermath of China’s earthquake. However, although the world is big, God’s love is bigger. Already people from around the world are reaching out to help.

I love the house painting…that is the title of a the first book study that my dh and I ever did in a churh together, right after we were married. It has been a guide for me ever since…like asking myself “does that serve the Lord?” when making a decision. For instance, taking a right turn to walk onto the front porch of a Sunday morning to grab the gi-normous Sunday paper, instead of taking the left to the shower, to get ready for church…does that serve the Lord? Probably not. And, may I say, if that painting were hanging in my foyer…what a fine reminder that would be, every Sunday morning, for years to come!

The mugs and Psalm 46:10. The verse is one of my favorites … especially when my life gets crazy. The mugs of coffee remind me of my friend, Rusty. We could solve the problems of the whole world over a pot of coffee and our fun mugs.

I like the 6 cup morning canvas. My mom started letting me taste her coffee when I was 2 years old. By the age of 7 I was a full blown addict. Now at 23, I just about can’t live without 2 or 3 cups a day.

Definitely the “Whatever” large magnetic board. That scripture is one of our all time favorite thank you Jesus for telling us this verses. Philippians 4:8 – whatever indeed. Beautiful story of how these women have started their business – our Lord works in fabulous ways.
