- Shaw-awn and Travis and Cindy are rehearsing for their Gloria Christmas Tour today (their tour is in partnership with Compassion International, and I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it, but I’m a bit of a Compassion fan). Anyway, Shaun set up a little camera doo-hickey that enables you to watch them rehearse, and while it’s essentially like sitting in an empty auditorium and listening to an orchestra warm up, IT FASCINATES ME.
- I don’t normally “oooh” and “aaah” when I read a magazine, but let me tell you: the latest issue of Southern Accents is breathtaking. The Christmas decorations are absolutely stunning, and I especially love some of the unique color combinations they featured this year (there’s a stair railing decorated in green and blue, and it is divine).
- Finally, you know you’re getting old when your favorite interweb discovery of late is a stain removal guide. But oh, it is mighty handy.

I didn’t realize that Shaw-awn’s video was a live feed. I watched a minute or two of it and said to myself, “well. this is boring.” But then again–he warned us. I’ll have to peek in again.

love the stain tips. seeing that i have 2 boys, we are always trying to find new ways to take out stains.
i don’t read home decor magazines this time of year (they give me a holiday inferiority complex, and who needs that?! so the LORD told me to fast from them), but the green and blue stair rail sounds so pretty! and they’re my sorority colors! :0)
we girls sat for hours marveling over the new issue of Southern Accents and hot Cranberry Tea all weekend, while of course cheering for my team…..it is a great issue.

I got an offer a few weeks back for both Southern Living and Southern Accents for two years . . . really cheap. I’m tempted to take them up on it, but after your Southern Living post I’m not so sure. I’m one of those who cancelled my subscription over a year ago. Seems they want me back now.
Are you calling me old? Yep, you are!! I LOVE stain removal guides, but somehow they just don’t work with my stains. :)
