Now I know – I KNOW – that lately there have been more giveaways than usual around these bloggy parts. But since it’s Christmas, and since the economy has, um, taken a bit of a hit this year, I’ve been a little more giveaway-ish than I normally am. Because I figure that every little bit helps, you know?
So when the people from Kohl’s asked if I might like to give away a gift card, I was all, “OKAY!” I know lots of y’all are dedicated Kohl’s shoppers and can work a Kohl’s coupon like nobody’s sweet business, so I thought a little Kohl’s cheer was definitely in order.
The Kohl’s people also told me that they have a handy little widget you can download straight to your desktop so that you get up-to-the-minute information on all the latest deals. If you’re interested in the widget, you can download it right here; it’ll look just like this on your computer:

This is going to sound cheesy… but I’d actually send the card to my mom for her Christmas shopping this year. My dad lost his job in June and is still looking for a new one… so money is really tight around their house right now and I think this would allow her to buy her grand-daughter (my niece) something fun and new (like the Pacific Play Tents Lil Nursery Tent)… or maybe something for my dad (like a new pair of dockers).
Pajamas that fit my “top.” (Just had a baby in October and am really needing a new pair. Of pajamas, that is.)
I would buy myself some warmer clothes!!!
I would get a fancy blender!
I’d love new handbag. The Simply Vera Vera Wang Jacquard small hobo in black would be grand. It’s on sale so I’d go for some trouser jeans also.
I would get some Jumping Beans shirts for my girls. Nothing too exciting, but definitely needed!

I love Kohls… I would get some baby clothes for Lillian, coming in March! We lived in CA for our first daughter, and now we live in much colder parts… all my baby layette things are too chilly for her. :-)

I’d buy coats for our city’s coats for kids program.
