Now I know – I KNOW – that lately there have been more giveaways than usual around these bloggy parts. But since it’s Christmas, and since the economy has, um, taken a bit of a hit this year, I’ve been a little more giveaway-ish than I normally am. Because I figure that every little bit helps, you know?
So when the people from Kohl’s asked if I might like to give away a gift card, I was all, “OKAY!” I know lots of y’all are dedicated Kohl’s shoppers and can work a Kohl’s coupon like nobody’s sweet business, so I thought a little Kohl’s cheer was definitely in order.
The Kohl’s people also told me that they have a handy little widget you can download straight to your desktop so that you get up-to-the-minute information on all the latest deals. If you’re interested in the widget, you can download it right here; it’ll look just like this on your computer:
As you can see, it is quite fancy.
Anyway, if you’d like to win a $50 Kohl’s gift card, you have to do three things:
1. Click over to the Kohl’s website.
2. Look around.
3. Come back here and leave a comment telling what you’d buy with the gift card.
Now isn’t that just as easy as can be?
This giveaway will only be open until Thursday, December 11 at noon central time, so get to clickin’, internets!
Have fun!
This giveaway is now closed.

Jennifer Casey says:
I would love to say I’d spend it on someone else, but I would probably buy myself something. Just keepin’ it real. And at 8 months pregnant, I don’t think clothes (maternity or otherwise) would be a prudent purchase. So, I’d go with the always sensible shoes. And maybe throw in something for the house just to be practical.

Stretch Mark Mama says:
No clothes for me! I’d head to the kitchen department. Air popper. New tabletop grill.
Hubs worked for Kohls for a short time — in the customer service dept. People would return things, months after they bought them. By that time, the selling price had gone down, down down. That was such a great time of getting good stuff for us. Wonderful sheet sets for $6. Classy clothes (this was before kids, when we actually gave a moment’s thought to our apparel), stuff like that.

$50 wouldn’t quite cover it, but it would make a great dent in the Kitchen Aid Artisan 5Qt. Stand Mixer in Red that I’ve always wanted. I figure if I have the $50 gift card my husband would have to let me throw in the other $250! He’s used to my skewed shopping logic.

I want my mom to get something special for herself. The Sonoma Cable Turtleneck for petites would be good nice for her as she’s always cold.
She is always doing things for other people. Lately, I have been one of those other people she has given up so much for. I was in a car wreck in Feb. ‘06 & have had 8 surgeries so far w/ more to come. 12-08 I got the referral to go to the neuro surgeon to get the ball rolling for another back surgery & then another neck surgery. Amongst all of this I have been diagnosed w/ melanoma. They took one out of the left side of my face yesterday. Mom (& Dad) have been there every step of the way – at 82 yrs young. I would add another $50 so my Dad could get something just for him. The rule would be to spoil THEMSELVES for once. I love them so very much & am so thankful God made the three of us a family!!!!
