in Rambling

- Carolyn from Canada sent me a link that cracked me up. And in my head I’m calling the link “We’ll Give Thanks More Effectively If You Do Exactly What I Ask.” It’s a must-read.

- PHH left a comment on my most recent bacon post about a tomato pie she’d made, and I was so intrigued that I clicked over to her blog to see if she’d posted the recipe. Lo and behold, she had – and oh my word at the deliciousness. I mean, DO YOU SEE ALL THAT CHEESE? Not to mention that I saw about fourteen other recipes on her blog that I cannot wait to try.

- Amy emailed me last week and reminded me that the new “Glory Revealed” CD is coming out soon. If you’ve been around here awhile, you’ll remember that a couple of years ago I COULD NOT QUIT TALKING about the first “Glory Revealed” CD. I still love it so much. And you can actually listen to full-length samples of four songs on the new CD – just click on the “Listen Here” tab.

(I am now listening to “Wake Up Oh Sleeper” for the fourth time in a row.)

(DELIGHTFUL.)

I am DYING at that Thanksgiving letter. Seriously, isn’t any help better than none? Though, as much as my mother likes to complain about all the transgression of unknown rules after she hostesses a holiday, perhaps I should pass this on to her.

Mmmmm. Tomatoes and cheese – second only to chocolate. Thanks for the linkage to this recipe.

I want to know how the Thanksgiving dinner turned out! I hope that Lisa gets to sit at the Grown-Up table now that she’s officially considered an adult.

I wonder how many people called in sick to that Thanksgiving feast? I loved the comment on the blog with the tomato pie/BLT recipe “I wonder if we can convince them it’s a deep dish pizza?”, because that would sound healthier apparently! Happy LInks today, BooMama, Happy Links.

looking forward to the new Glory Revealed. Nothing like singing some praises to some Scripture! It’s a great way to hide God’s Word in my heart.

I just went back and read the Thanksgiving letter. I really didn’t see what was so funny, don’t we all send out a letter like this each year. Oh wait, we don’t actually mail the letter, we just “wish” we could mail a letter telling our families exactly what they should do :o) My favorite line is “Lisa as a married woman you are now required to contribute at the adult level.” Too funny!

My dear friend who just moved back to SC from TX introduced us to Tomato Pie while living here. It is a favorite and the recipe brought me a smile thinking of her!

I LOVE the Thanksgiving letter – I wonder if Marney is Martha Stewart’s nickname?

I’ve decided that the Glory Revealed II cd is going to be my reward when I meet my Nike iPod Plus workout goal (four workouts/week for four weeks).

Gotta have that carrot dangling in front of me to get my lazy tail in gear :)

Oh, I wish I had a t-shirt that read “Don’t be a Marney.”
