- Kristen at We Are THAT Family transformed her dining room into a home office. And the results are absolutely gorgeous.

- We’re big Jon Hamm fans in our house, and this SNL sketch (with Michael Buble’) made us love him even more. Funny!

- I am completely fascinated by the Duggars. I just think they are the sweetest, most precious family, and I love watching their show. Last night I ran across the newest episode about the birth of their premature baby (here’s a clip), and I may have cried once or four times. So sweet.

- I couldn’t help but smile when I read Nester’s reminder that we can frame anything.

- A few years ago the internet got together and raised some money to help my friend Kelli and her family cover their health insurance premiums while she was waiting on approval for a kidney transplant. It’s been a long road – a three-year road, in fact – but she finally got moved to the top of the transplant list. And now she needs a living kidney donor. Read her story. You may be able to help. And if even if you don’t give her, you know, a kidney, you may feel led to donate some money to Kelli’s family to offset their transplant travel costs. More than anything, please keep her family in your prayers.

Wow, I can really relate to this linky awesomeness post! The Duggar’s story really hit home for me, I delivered our first baby premature at 21.5 weeks, unfortuantly he didn’t make it so I truly know how little Josie is such a precious gift. I love the Duggar’s too.
Thank you for sharing Kelli’s story! I’ve kept up with her for a couple years now. I had a kidney transplant a year and a half ago and my heart aches for Kelli as she waits for hers. Its a horrible place to be and she is being so strong! Many prayers for her!

I could not believe how tiny she was. Could not bring myself to tell hubs I was watching the Duggars when he asked what took me so long coming to bed. He wouldn’t get it.

I watched the Duggars last night, too. I’ve been worried about the baby since it was born in December, and then you just didn’t hear anything else about her.

I wish they had given more details about how she is right this minute, but for the show to be aired, I feel she’s probably doing well.

I’m enjoying your blog.

Sophie, thank you so much for mentioning us today. We are so very grateful and excited that OHSU has finally (after a whole stinkin’ year of testing) said yes- to testing any living donor candidates.

They did turn down the first one today, and I don’t know that anymore are in the lineup right right, but we have to just continue being hopeful, and trusting that the one right stranger will come along and be willing to be that perfect match of life giving.

Thank you again sweet, precious friend.

I am glad to hear someone else say that they love the Duggars. That family sure takes a lot of criticism. My daughter and I love them, too, and I want to be just like Michelle Duggar when I grow up. I gotta long way to go though….

The Duggars are amazing…but I feel so sorry for them now with the darling little preemie girl. I hope she’s gonna be ok. I think it’s time to listen to God and say enough. What a wonderful family. They do it how it’s supposed to be done…other people should follow their example on how to be a good parent and raise good kids.

I love The Duggars and am so glad to hear lots of other people do, too. I went through exactly what Michelle did with our first baby girl and we sadly lost her. I am SO glad their sweet little Josie made it and am praying for continued good health for her!
