- I don’t know if any of you are country music fans or not, but right now, on the People Country magazine site, you can download eleven country songs for free. And do you know what I enjoy? FREE.

- My Eggland’s Best $100 Visa gift card giveaway (along with a six-month supply of eggs) ends tomorrow, so if you haven’t entered yet, time’s a wastin’!

- We have laughed and laughed at Garth & Kat’s Valentine’s duets today. Classic.

- Loved Tater Mama’s post about what she would tell her 18 year-old self.

- I am uncharacteristically excited about Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. And I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to fit it into what is already a jam-packed Thursday night TV-watching schedule (I mean, I haven’t even watched last week’s Project Runway yet, THAT’S HOW BEHIND I AM), but I’ll make a way somehow. I am determined.

Happy Super Bowl, everybody!

OK. My 18-year-old son just came in the kitchen to get some more to drink (Pepsi) while watching the Super Bowl and saw the Garth and Kat skit. He actually stayed in here to watch it to the end. That’s saying something right there. Thanks for the link.

sophie, I really enjoy Project Runway, too! The designers this time are slowly starting to stand out a bit. I’m still confused by the one girl with short black hair that looks like a girl from last season. They even design similarly.

I wish I could sew!

I am unbelievably excited about Survivor this season. I’m going to drive my husband INSANE on Thursdays now. Thank Goodness for DVR! Can I get an ‘Amen’? :)

We put up a projector and a 90 in. screen for Super Bowl. I’m begging the hubby to leave it up for Survivor on Thurs! I am so exited for this season!

We are totally psyched about Survivor – in fact DH is trying to find a tactful way to tell someone we love dearly – ain’t gonna happen on Thursdays now no matter how much you need to chat – it has to be another night ( not Mondays ’cause bachelor and of course not Tuesday with NCIS) we do not Tivo so we either watch it on tv or wait until next day and Hulu it. Go Rupert! Get ‘em Stephne DeGrasso and yeah – that’s our Texan Colby in the mix too

Oh my goodness, I’m stoked about the new Survivor season! It’s going to be the best yet. I don’t even know who to cheer for…I like so many of them!

Hubs and I laughed ourselves silly at Garth and Kat. Music humor.

Because Survivor was my first TV to show to watch (during my adult life and yes I’m serious) I absolutely heart it the most. There’s just something about enjoying disliking all those people and being glad I’m at home, not eaten alive with bug bites and consuming raw fish. There you go, maybe that’s why I heart it so much – it gives me a grateful heart!

Okay, this is funny. I just now showed my husband this link for Garth & Kat. I was laughing so hard with tears in my eyes. I turned to him and said,
Isn’t it hilarious?!” He said, “That’s not funny. It makes me feel bad.” He said that it reminded him of when he was younger in his youth group choir and he never learned the words to the songs and would have to listen to the people around him and try to sing the words he didn’t know!! Oh, my silly man :). It’s even funnier because that same man (who was kicked out of 6th grade music class for. the. year.), married a music teacher!!!!!
