The Big Boo Cast, Episode 61

If you have any doubts at all about the fact that Melanie and I covered a wide swath of conversational ground in this podcast, then just take a look at all the links below. I believe the phrase you’re looking for is “ALL OVER THE PLACE.”

We talk about coffee, summer snacks, lunch foods, whether the whole Hamilton phenomenon is already dead to Melanie, personality traits we enjoy in others, and the many reasons it’s probably a good idea that the Shankles didn’t get any chickens.

We also devote considerable time to a discussion of foods we don’t necessarily care for.

And then there’s a whole bunch of other stuff but who could possibly remember it all?

You can click here to listen. Or here. You can even listen right here on the blog.

Or, as always, you can subscribe on iTunes if you’re feeling particularly fancy.

Just FYI – here’s where you can get more info on the products / places we mention (these aren’t affiliate links – just regular ole links):

  1. 2 weeks in a row… I am so happy!! Can’t wait to listen on my bus ride to work tomorrow. Thanks girls, you are my favourite!

  2. Mary Kay Andrews’ books are fun easy reads. Great for the pool or beach!

  3. Kristen says:

This podcast came at just the right time today! I so needed a happy distraction…
Anyway, if you enjoy a bold coffee I wanted to mention Starbucks French Roast and Peet’s Coffee French Roast. They are my favorite Kcups by far. Thanks for the laughs!

  4. I was driving my husband’s fancy Ford Focus yesterday which allowed me to use the Bluetooth and listen to the podcast while driving. I’m not sure this is a good idea! I tend to close my eyes when laughing hysterically, so there’s the first problem. The second is I’m 54 (!) years old and, well, laughing and drinking iced tea and listening to a podcast means, well, frequent stops.

When Melanie made the hissing cat noise about certain foods, I thought I might have to pay the $500 that she’s going to have to pay for hauling her dogs in the loaner. Except mine’s not a loaner and it wouldn’t be dog hair. TMI? Can I send you all the bill?

  5. Natalie says:

    I have a Kate (17) and a Henry (4)! And my Loren was almost a Lucy! :)

Re: coffee, we like the Starbucks Espresso Roast – also a dark roast

Thanks for the new podcast! So fun.

  6. Rosanne Green says:

You sounded a little too nonchalant when you were mentioning that you had Hamilton tickets. Respect.
