The Big Boo Cast, Episode 81

bigboographic

Well, first of all, we recorded this episode with Melanie talking on her phone because her microphone was in the guest room where P was napping. Sure, we could have waited until another day so that the sound quality was better, but when you’ve only recorded 80 podcasts over the last 10 years, you take the recording opportunities when they present themselves – no need to wait for pesky sound equipment.

Second of all, we answer several of your questions in this podcast, including how we navigate arguments in our marriages and whether watching This Is Us is worth it (short answer: YES). We also discuss fall fashion, disagree about whether booties have run their course, and marvel at our current state of skin care contentment.

Finally, we talk about workout pants and granola because, well, of course.

We’d love for you to subscribe on iTunes, and we’d be honored if you’d leave us a review.

Enjoy, y’all!

  1. I felt like y’all were speaking my MIND during this podcast! Everything from the no more cold shoulder tops to the oddness that is speaking in songs- I was right there with y’all! I will say though that if you look up some of the conspiracies behind what Taylor supposedly means in her new songs, and what overall concept she’s going for in her new album, well, it’s just hilarious!! People put a lot of effort into reading between the lines of her stuff!

  2. As a die hard Tiger I have to mention Alabama did lose a game…. to Clemson!

  3. Loved this, as I do every podcast. I had to laugh about the mascara; I just contracted my teenage daughter to revitalize my makeup because I do not have the time nor savvy for that, and this is one of the products she recommended. Then last week I had a co-worker stop me in mid-sentence to ask, “What have you done differently with your eyelashes – they look amazing!” So I’m ALL IN on this product – great stuff!

Also, on your next podcast (in a month or six – no pressure, but I do love them a lot!) please ask Melanie to share with us how the Rodan & Fields product with the tiny needles to stimulate collagen product is working. I was equal parts fascinated and horrified, so I was hoping to hear an update about how it worked and felt for her. I’m using the “Shankle oil” and am a big fan of that and Hummingbird Farms lavender oil and cream. You two are getting to be an expensive habit, once I start trying all the skin care products! Good thing you’re so entertaining and delightful. Loving All in All so far, too!
